Embassy of Bangladesh, Tokyo, celebrates the Historic 7th March in Japan.
The Embassy of Bangladesh, Tokyo has observed the historic 7th March in a befitting manner. The program began with observing one-minute silence and offering special prayer for the salvation and peace of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, his family members and for the valiant martyrs of the liberation war who sacrificed their lives in 1971. Messages from the Honorable President and Prime Minister on the occasion were read out to the audience.
Charge d’ Affaires, Dr. Sahida Akter paid homage to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and discussed on the significance of the 7th March’s speech of Bangabandhu. She also stressed on the events to be celebrated throughout the year on the birth centenary of Bangabandhu.
A vibrant discussion session on the significance of the day took place followed by a video documentary screening of. All the officials and staffs of the Mission and many community members were present at the program.
